Michele Lynn

ME-SC, LAC, NCC, Behavioral Health Clinician

I have 10 years of experience working as a school counselor K-8. I have worked with non-binary, gender non-conforming, and trans youth/teens and some adults. I am passionate about helping and advocating for diverse groups. I am a Ph.D. candidate in Counselor Education and focus my research and advocacy on cultural humility and social justice advocacy. I am a counselor that works from a Cultural-Relational Theoretical position and believe partnering and working together allows for shared power and learning. I also recognize that true help and understanding comes from recognizing that systemic dynamics impact our behavioral health and situations and can create barriers or issues that we do not always have control over. -Michele Lynn
