Janice Talas-Denny

BSHCM, MHA Practice Manager

Janice graduated with honors from National American University-Rapid City earning her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management degree, continued on to NAU’s Harold D. Buckingham Graduate School-Rapid City to earn her Masters in Healthcare Administration. 

Janice is a member of the Hopi Tribe and grew up in Northern Arizona on the Hopi Reservation. She enjoys spending her free time with family, fishing, hiking, traveling to powwow’s, reading, and crafting her beautifully beaded creations. She is also very culturally in tune with her Hopi traditions and frequently travels to the Hopi Reservation for the traditional ceremonies. She understands and speaks the Hopi Language fluently and is proud of her Hopi heritage.

Janice brings a wealth of experience as a leader in the clinical and administrative aspects of healthcare spanning various roles in the medical field. From her tenure at the Prescott Veterans Administration working with Veterans to her work with Native communities at the Phoenix Indian Medical Center and the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community. She has a strong passion to provide support for our Native communities, BIPOC & underserved populations.
