Restoring Communities

Telehealth Trauma Trained Counselors

TRSA is an Indigenous (Navajo female) owned & operated small business. We specialize in providing evidence-based trauma therapy to Indigenous people, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, Veterans and the underserved. We specialize in the use of EMDR therapy and other cutting-edge therapies to heal communities that have been deeply impacted by genocidal practices, discrimination, active-duty service, childhood trauma and other complex reactions to trauma.

Our Story

Our founder Jordanna Saunders grew up in a Tribal community that has been negatively impacted by genocide/historical trauma and has seen and experienced first-hand what happens when healing and reconciliation doesn’t occur in a systemic and sustained manner.

Indigenous and people of color/people from underserved communities experience shortened life spans, reduced quality of life. Indigenous women experience violence at much higher rates than non-Indigenous women & often deal with PTSD with little to no professional support. For these reasons and more, TRSA & Jordanna’s work focuses on improving access to trauma informed mental health services utilizing technology in affected communities.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

5-star-reviews-1.png

Jordanna is a trusted colleague. I often talk over cases with her. She's well-versed in trauma treatment. Her clients benefit from her years of experience in the field as well as her big heart. I highly recommend her as a therapist.

Jordanna is absolutely wonderful. She was the first therapist to actually listen to me and provide actual help. Every time I  left I felt like I was leaving  with a sense that I was making progress. Yes she had me download some meditation apps on my phone but those where to help with my anxiety outside of our appointments. She has been a huge help with my anxiety and depression and I am so thankful I decided to go here.
