
Davina Morris
Licensed Master Social Worker
Davina is Diné (Navajo) and Mexican American. Her clans are Todích'íí'nii (Bitter Water), born for Mexican American, her maternal grandparents are Tsi'naajinii (Black Streak Wood People) and her paternal grandparents are Mexican American. Davina identifies as a Diné cisgender female and self-proclaimed Chicana.
Davina believes in a trauma informed perspective and has been trained in TF-CBT, Community Resiliency Model (CRM) and often uses DBT skills, and components of EFT to guide a person in sharing their story. It’s her thought that each person deserves to be heard, spoken to gently and to be met in the places they are ready to explore.
Davina has experience working with teenagers, adults, LGBTQIA and neurodivergent people.
Davina currently lives on the Navajo reservation with her husband, cat, and “grand” puppies. On her own time Davina enjoys spending time cooking for and visiting with her family and friends. Davina also enjoys reading, jogging, podcasts, audiobooks, and coloring.
