Effie Evangeline Gonzales

As the Executive & Operations Assistant, I enjoy working alongside Jordanna and providing support to all staff members of TRSAZ. I strive to take on extra administrative responsibilities and to keep things organized. My goal is to lighten the work load of others so that they are able to devote more time and energy to their work that matters most.

In addition to my administrative role, I am currently a counseling student intern, pursuing my passion for helping others navigate life's challenges and heal from past trauma. I am enrolled in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Northern Arizona University and expect to graduate in the spring of 2027.

Being able to work in both roles gives me a unique perspective, allowing me to appreciate both the importance of compassionate client care and developing an understanding of the behind the scenes administrative work that is crucial to running a successful counseling practice that is able to make quality mental health services accessible.

Outside of work, I enjoy expressing myself through creativity and the arts, which continually remind me of the importance of self-expression, resilience, and connection. At home, I share life with my wonderful husband and our beloved fur family of cats and dogs, who bring joy, laughter, and plenty of personality to our lives.
