Makiah Stewart

Licensed Associate Counselor

I specialize in working with children and adolescents, with a strong focus on supporting autistic and neurodivergent youth, as well as those navigating trauma, grief, and emotional or behavioral challenges. My approach is trauma-informed and strengths-based, honoring each child’s individuality, communication style, and lived experience.

As a BIPOC clinician and a graduate of Grand Canyon University, I am committed to creating an affirming, inclusive, and safe space for all children and families. I value collaboration with caregivers and believe meaningful progress happens when children feel understood, respected, and supported both in and beyond the therapy space.

My goal is to meet youth where they are and support their growth in emotional awareness, resilience, and confidence.
