
Phylicia Henderson
LAC, MCMHC, Sexual Assault Services Counselor
Phylicia was born and raised in Saint Louis, MO. She moved to Arizona in 2017. She graduated with her master’s in clinical mental health counseling from Grand Canyon University, where she also obtained a bachelor’s degree in public health. During her graduate program clinicals, Phylicia worked with a variety of clients who suffered from conditions such as anxiety, PTSD, depression, and trauma. The populations included children, adolescents, young adults, elderly, families, and couples. Phylicia has experience working in a rehabilitation hospital as a rehab technician and case manager, which included working with a variety of medical conditions and underprivileged populations. Phylicia also has experience providing developmental and educational services for military children and their families and providing public health education to the community. While working with mixed populations, Phylicia discovered her passion for mental health. She strives to use her knowledge, skills, and compassion to help others through their life journeys and bring support to the community.

Phylicia is able to see adult clients who are seeking therapy due to a sexual assault. All services provided by her are covered under a grant so there is no cost to clients.
